ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

One requirement to finish the degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education is to take off -campus teaching and extension such as NAT review, English Festival, Surat Bicol and the E-portfolio. E- portfolio is the compilation of the different documents, such as brief description of the school, different official communication letter, Instruction like the lesson plan, instructional materials, pictures, and many others.

And it is just proper and fitting to acknowledge the different persons who helped in the making of the E- portfolio with the purpose to develop the skills in computer manipulation and know some web site that helps future teacher in more accessible and easy portfolio. INTRODUCTION

Teaching is a process of learning. As we get experiences, we also gain various types of learning. As a part of our last semester in college, we are designated to take our practice teaching for us to apply the different approaches that we have acquired and to see whether the things that we expect as pre- service teachers are true in the real classroom situations.

We, the five practice teachers are assigned at Pili West Central School. An elementary public school which is giving quality education to pupils who are given the privilege to study in a low cost. This school is located beside the Maharlika Highway at Brgy. San Antonio, Pili, Camarines Sur near St. Raphael de Archangel Parish. It is having a friendly community which really touches the life of each of us. The treatment that almost made us feels that we are permanent part of their family and not just as visitors.

The cooperating teachers helped us to the best that they can and supported us in every aspect that we are trying to partake. The pupils give their full respect and acceptance to us student teachers and participated in every lesson that we impart with them. In every grade- level, the teachers are very accommodating to give us their orientation in every program that we are trying to pursue. They also let us use their resources to avoid extravagant expenses in each event or activity.

PWCS is an environmental lover school. The principal, the faculty members and the rest of the staff really see to it that plants are given proper care and the cleanliness is maintained. Though they lack some facilities, teachers are ready to take the risk and provide their best to still attain their objectives in the lesson by being the best visual aid and source of information, knowledge and wisdom.

Almighty God,
We come to you today and give thanks for all our teachers.
Thank you for the way in which they give of themselves each day in the classroom,
Serving and instructing the next generation of this land.
We thank you for them all now.

Father, please fill their hearts with courage now by your mighty Spirit.
Fill them with your strength, so they may rise to every challenge and not grow weary.
Fill them with your wisdom, so that they may be able to make good judgement when guiding and helping others.
Fill them with your peace, so that when stress and anxiety comes it would not overwhelm them.
Fill them with your joy, so that the passion they have for their subject may become a infectious passion that spreads.

We ask all this in the wonderful name of Jesus.

PREFACE

Teacher training institutions offer courses which provide every student the opportunity to practice the theories they have learned. Through the off- campus teaching, the students are given this chance to manifest and show their talents and skills as full- fledged teachers.

Various topics that are included in the practice teaching of team Pili West Central School student teachers of the Bachelor of Elementary Education- Generalist of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture are shown and discussed in this e- Portfolio. Among these are: (a) Welcome Page; (b) Home Page; (c) Reflections; (d) Documents; (e) Instruction (individual); (f) Extension Activities; and (g) Research.

Some concepts and ideas about this e- Portfolio have been adopted from references and experience of educators and persons that made the fielding of student teachers effective, hence, will be used solely by CDE students.

It is advised that aside from ideas presented in this e- Portfolio, students should also consider reading other reference materials that may enrich their knowledge, improve their skills and guide them in pursuing the endeavor of teaching profession.
